What we're building
A native app earns its place by doing things a browser cannot: waking your phone when a price you care about is hit, unlocking with a fingerprint or a face rather than a password, and holding a session gracefully when you walk through a tunnel. Those are the reasons we are building one, rather than shipping a wrapper around the site. Until it is genuinely ready for the App Store and Google Play, we would rather point you at the mobile web terminal, which already works, than publish a placeholder listing.
- Native iOS and Android builds, distributed through the App Store and Google Play
- Push notifications for price alerts, order fills and stop-loss or take-profit triggers
- Biometric sign-in with Face ID, Touch ID or Android fingerprint unlock
- Charts and order entry tuned for touch, with one-handed position management
- Graceful handling of patchy connections, so a dropped signal does not cost you a session
- The same account, balances, positions and history as the web terminal
What you can use today
The NOVEDOX web terminal already covers the full trading workflow: live streaming prices, candlestick charts across five timeframes, market and pending orders, stop-loss and take-profit management, partial closes, and a complete position and history ledger. It runs on desktop, tablet and mobile browsers from the same account.
Available right now
Your phone already runs the full terminal
This is the part most people miss: mobile trading with NOVEDOX is not waiting on the app. The web terminal is responsive by design, which means it reflows for a phone screen rather than shrinking a desktop layout down until nothing is tappable. Open your browser, sign in, and you have the platform.
It is the same account, the same streaming prices and the same position book you see on a laptop, not a read-only companion view. You can open trades, adjust a stop-loss, close part of a position or flatten everything, all from the handset in your pocket.
What works on a phone browser today
- Live streaming quotes pushed over WebSocket, exactly as on desktop
- Candlestick charts on 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h and 1d, with history paging as you scroll back
- Market and pending orders with stop-loss and take-profit attached at entry
- Position management, modify SL and TP, partial close, close-all, close-by
- Positions and trade history with floating and realised results
- Account switching between your demo and live accounts under one login
- Persistent preferences, so your instrument and timeframe are where you left them
Where a native app will genuinely add something
Three things, mainly. Push notifications, so your phone can tell you a level was hit without the terminal being open. Biometric sign-in, which is faster and safer than typing a password on a small keyboard in public. And more forgiving session handling on unreliable mobile networks. Everything else you need is already in the browser.
How-to
Add NOVEDOX to your home screen
Both iOS and Android let you pin a website to your home screen. It gets its own icon, opens in its own window without browser chrome, and behaves much like an installed app, which is the closest thing to a native experience available while the real apps are built.
iPhone and iPad, Safari
- Open Safari and go to the NOVEDOX site, then sign in and open the terminal at /dashboard.
- Tap the Share button. The square with an upward arrow, in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen (or top right on iPad).
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Edit the name if you like “NOVEDOX” is a sensible choice. Then tap Add in the top right.
- The NOVEDOX icon now sits on your home screen. Tapping it opens the terminal full-screen, without the Safari address bar.
This must be done in Safari specifically. Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not offer Add to Home Screen, because iOS reserves that capability for Safari.
Android, Chrome
- Open Chrome and go to the NOVEDOX site, then sign in and open the terminal at /dashboard.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Choose Add to Home screen (on some Android versions this reads “Install app”).
- Confirm the name and tap Add, then Add automatically if your launcher asks where to place it.
- The icon appears in your app drawer and on your home screen, and opens NOVEDOX in its own window.
Samsung Internet, Edge and Firefox on Android offer the same thing under similar menu names, look for “Add page to” or “Install” in the browser menu.
What the home-screen shortcut does and does not do
It does:
- Give NOVEDOX its own icon and its own window, without browser toolbars
- Open the terminal in one tap, with your session remembered as usual
- Keep every trading feature the mobile browser already has
It does not:
- Send push notifications. That needs the native app
- Enable biometric sign-in, also a native app feature
- Work offline, streaming prices require a live connection
Tips for trading comfortably on a small screen
- Turn the phone landscape when you are reading a chart closely. More candles fit and the price scale is easier to judge.
- Set your stop-loss and take-profit at entry. On mobile you are more likely to be interrupted, so define the exit before you need it.
- Use pending orders rather than watching for a level. The order waits for the market so you do not have to.
- Practise on the demo first. Learn where the partial-close and modify controls sit before you need them in a hurry on a live position.
- Avoid public Wi-Fi for account access where you can, and never share your one-time passcode with anyone.
