NOVEDOX

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data NOVEDOX ("we", "us") collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the NOVEDOX website and services (the "Platform").

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — full name, email address, username, country, and (optionally) phone number, collected when you register.
  • Credentials — your password is stored only as a strong one-way hash; we never store or see it in plain text. If you use Google Sign-In we receive your Google account's email, name and identifier — never your Google password.
  • Verification data — when you complete identity verification, your identity documents and selfie are collected and processed by our verification partner (see Section 4). We store the outcome of the verification, not your documents.
  • Transaction data — deposit and withdrawal records, trade history, and account balances.
  • Technical data — session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use your data

  • To create and operate your account, execute your instructions, and display your history;
  • To verify your email address and identity, and to protect the Platform against fraud and abuse;
  • To send service emails such as verification codes and important account notices;
  • To send updates and marketing materials where you have agreed to receive them — every marketing email contains an "Unsubscribe" link, and unsubscribing never affects service emails;
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

3. Cookies

The Platform uses a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is essential for the service to work and is removed when your session ends or you sign out. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Platform, under their own privacy and security obligations:

  • Didit — identity verification (processes your documents and selfie when you verify);
  • Brevo — email delivery (processes your email address to send codes and, with your consent, marketing);
  • NOWPayments — cryptocurrency deposit processing (processes payment addresses and transaction details);
  • Google — sign-in, if you choose Google Sign-In.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect the Platform and its users against fraud.

5. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account exists and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep them for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Verification codes expire within minutes and are stored only as hashes.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are hashed with an industry-standard algorithm, verification codes are stored hashed with strict expiry and attempt limits, and payment notifications are cryptographically signature-checked. No system is perfectly secure — protect your credentials and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

7. Your rights and choices

  • Access and correction — you can view and edit your profile details in Preferences at any time;
  • Marketing opt-out — use the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email;
  • Deletion — you can request closure of your account and deletion of your data through the Support Center, subject to records we must keep by law;
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law, which we will honour.

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email.

10. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent through the Support Center in your account, or by email to support@novedox.com.
